These charts are snapshots of the data at the time of copying. They do not change when the source data changes. In Calc, a chart is an object on a sheet, it cannot be a sheet of its own. Chart in a Calc spreadsheet Click inside the cell range that you want to present in your chart. Click the Insert Chart icon on the Standard toolbar. You see a chart preview and the Chart Wizard. Follow the instructions in the Chart Wizard to create the chart. Chart in a Writer text document In a Writer document, you can insert a chart based on the values in a Writer table.
